The Arctic Circle is a circle of latitude that runs 66°33′45.9″ north of the Equator. It marks the southernmost latitude where the sun stays continuously above the horizon for 24 hours in summer. Santa Claus Village is certainly the best and most legendary place to cross the famous Arctic Circle.

Arctic Circle Summer market 13-14.06.2026
The traditional Arctic Circle Summer Market marks the beginning our summer season on the weekend of 13–14 June 2026. During the event, companies from Santa Claus Village and the surrounding countryside showcase and sell their products. The atmosphere is enriched by performances from local musicians and folklore dance groups.

Send cards with Arctic Circle postmark stamp
Santa Claus Main Post Office is open every day of the year. The cheerful Postal Elves will post your greetings for you. All post will be stamped with the special Arctic Circle postmark.

Summer shopping in the Santa Claus Village
Santa Claus Village features many factory shops and boutiques offering brands like Marttiini, Marimekko, Pentik, Iittala as well as local handicrafts and souvenirs. Who knows, maybe you’ll make some wonderful Christmas gift finds too.
