Come and warm up in a traditional Finnish sauna in Rovaniemi, enjoying its gentle heat! The bravest can try ice swimming in the cold pool next to the sauna. As you ascend the wide steps to the pool, you can choose how deep to go—just dip your toes or immerse yourself up to your neck. After a refreshing swim, it’s wonderful to return to the warmth of the sauna. If you’re lucky, you might even witness the northern lights during your visit!
Sinetän Saunahuone is located in Rovaniemi’s country-side, only 30 km from Santa Claus Village. The sauna is private for you and your group or family. We provide everything you need for your sauna experience, also a swimming suit if you want but it’s not necessary.
In addition to the sauna, we also have a salt room, which is used to relieve respiratory symptoms or skin conditions. You can combine a visit to both the sauna and the salt room, with the experience lasting a total of 2,5 to 3 hours. Now that is luxury!
The sauna is available all year round:
- Ice swimming is possible from 1st September to 30th April.
- A cold pool is available in summer for an additional fee.

Polar Taste Restaurant of Käyrämön Keidas is an oasis located 60 km North from Santa Claus Village, on the way to Sodankylä along the E-4 road. Käyrämön Keidas has long operated as a traditional Nordic restaurant: among the offerings are, for example, delicious European à la carte dishes, Lapland reindeer stew, and tasty hamburgers with French fries. In addition our restaurant also features authentic Chinese cuisine. Restaurant has become one of Finland’s northernmost Chinese culinary experiences. We specialize in providing travel services and meals for groups. The restaurant has 144 seats and is happy to serve both groups of various sizes and individual customers.
Welcome to Musher’s Tavern, located in Husky Park at Santa Claus Village, where every visit promises a delightful fusion of husky-inspired charm and culinary excellence. Musher’s Tavern is not just a café but a haven for those seeking homemade savory and sweet delights, all wrapped in a charming husky theme.
During Husky Park’s opening hours, we operate as a café, offering a selection of delicious, homemade meals, including fresh lunch options. In the evening, we present an exclusive à la carte menu, available outside of the park’s opening hours. Please reserve your à la carte experience by email at least three days in advance.
Musher’s Tavern has its own entrance separate from the Husky Park entrance, so you’re welcome to visit us even if you don’t visit the Park.
The Haven of Riverside – Villa Sieripirtti is a log cottage and a separated Sauna cabin situated in the woodlands by the beautiful Kemijoki River. The villa is located 22 km southeast of Santa Claus Village.
There is space for 14 people to sleep. The log cottage has a big open space living and dining area, kitchen and four bedrooms which all have bunk beds, with the bottom bed sleeping two people. There are also two toilet/shower rooms. The Sauna cabin has a wood burning stove and spacious shower area with 3 showers and also pull-out sofa bed for two people. The sauna cabin has a kitchenette with a setting for two people and all the necessities to live.
In the garden, you will find an outdoor fire space where you can enjoy campfire treats surrounded by beautiful woodland nature. There is also a separate barbecue hut in the garden.
All About Salmon restaurant, located in Santa Claus Village, is restaurant full of different tastes from Lapland. Cooking the salmon on the open fire has long roots and traditions in Lapland. Our restaurant has been operating since 2023 next to Santa Claus Post Office.
Visiting in All About Salmon restaurant is not just filling your belly. It is an experience that you can feel with your sense of taste, your sense of smell, and by watching the salmon being cooked on the fire in the middle of the hut.
The secret of the menu is to select Lappish ingredients and some handpicked wild herbs to create unique pallet of different tastes. Every food and drink on the menu have roots and history in the food culture of Lapland. All of them have been carefully selected and recipes created to our restaurant. Some of them you can’t find anywhere else.
Reservations are available for groups of 10 or more. During the winter season we don’t have the table reservations available.
