Come and warm up in a traditional Finnish sauna in Rovaniemi, enjoying its gentle heat! The bravest can try ice swimming in the cold pool next to the sauna. As you ascend the wide steps to the pool, you can choose how deep to go—just dip your toes or immerse yourself up to your neck. After a refreshing swim, it’s wonderful to return to the warmth of the sauna. If you’re lucky, you might even witness the northern lights during your visit!

Sinetän Saunahuone is located in Rovaniemi’s country-side, only 30 km from Santa Claus Village. The sauna is private for you and your group or family. We provide everything you need for your sauna experience, also a swimming suit if you want but it’s not necessary.

In addition to the sauna, we also have a salt room, which is used to relieve respiratory symptoms or skin conditions. You can combine a visit to both the sauna and the salt room, with the experience lasting a total of 2,5 to 3 hours. Now that is luxury!

The sauna is available all year round:

The salt room is available all year round.

The most photographed and original winter backdrop in the outdoor areas of Santa Claus Village is the large snowmen. On site, large crowds of both foreign and Finnish tourists come to see and applaud these uniquely gigantic snowmen. Over a spirited thirty-year period, this SnowBrick™ Snowman has become a symbol of Rovaniemi, the Arctic Circle, and Santa Claus Village. The snowmen are positioned at the central outdoor locations of Santa Claus Village, right in front of Santa Claus Office and the Santa Claus Holiday Village, and their sheer presence must be experienced in person.

The creator of these three-sphere SnowBrick™ Snowman figures is snow architect Jukka TEPPO, and weather permitting, the SnowBrick company constructs them each year from natural snow. In some winter seasons, the snowmen have delighted tourists from November until as late as mid-April.

A patent application has been filed for the unique manufacturing method of the SnowBrick™ Snowman product. In addition, snow architect Jukka Teppo’s craftsmanship includes the two-person SnowBrick™ Snow Igloo, which offers a unique overnight experience in a self-built igloo!
