Welcome to ride in the pure Lappish nature with magical arctic horses! In our cozy stable, you’ll have the opportunity to meet our friendly horses, dogs, and sheep. We offer a variety of horse-related activities, including trail riding, sleigh rides in the winter, and we also breed Finnish horses. You are also welcome to join our traditional sauna ceremony or experience the tranquility of nature by staying in our glampings.

During your visit, we’ll share fascinating insights into the lives and histories of these magnificent animals. Our location is 30-minutes driving from Santa Claus Village. Sometimes you can meet our horses also in Santa Claus Village!

While in Lapland Rovaniemi why not get impressed by the unique Snow Sauna! The sauna bathing experience is an astonishing combination of thick steam with intimate snow walls. The SnowHotel (35 km from Santa Claus Village) grounds also have a more traditional log-built sauna buildings with lovely Jacuzzis. Bathing combined with a suitable beverage and hopefully the northern lights will keep you warm!

This Sauna bathing experience is always private for your family or group! Our sauna guide is always available to help you and makes sure that everything goes correctly.

We recommend the Snow sauna experience and day visit with transfers – available daily during December 15th until March 31st.

There is even possibility to have lunch in the Kota restaurant after the guided tour (lunch is not included in the price).

Welcome to Lapland Deluxe: an authentic 160 years old country estate by the beautiful lake Vanttausjärvi less than an hour (55km) outside of Rovaniemi. Lapland Deluxe is a beautifully unique place with a warm atmosphere, a rich history and hundreds of stories from the past. All the buildings are restored to a condition they deserve.

Traditions are cherished and respected on our estate, the animals are Finnish indigenous breeds: Finnsheep, Finnish Kainuu’s grey sheep, 2 cats, country chicken and a rooster. The sheep has an important role as ”therapy sheep” and also gene bank sheep.

We offer activities in three different seasons:

Autumn marks the start of the Aurora Borealis season and a time when Lapland’s nature dons vibrant shades of yellow, orange, and red – the season of fall foliage. During this period, you can embark on a Northern Lights tour, encounter Arctic animals in our safaris, hike through the wilderness, or explore the landscape from the saddle of an eFatbike.

Winter arrives early in Apukka Resort, as we kick off our snow-based activities from November 13th onwards. If nature doesn’t provide us with sufficient snow, we’ll create it using stored snow and snow cannons. Join us for fun-filled experiences like husky tours, reindeer sleigh rides, snowmobile safaris, and much more. These tours offer a special chance to enjoy snowy activities ahead of the usual season.

When the winter season is in full swing, you’ll find our selection of winter activities expanding. Enjoy longer husky rides, a greater variety of Northern Lights tours , snowshoeing … There are simply too many things to do to list here!

For those interested in experiencing Finnish saunas, our variety of saunas are available for booking. You can try the traditional lakeside sauna with ice swimming or sauna with an outdoor jacuzzi. Please note that sauna reservations do not include transfers, but you can utilize our Apukka Shuttle Bus for transportation.
