Taava Reindeer Farm offers reindeer experiences in a calm forest setting about 30 minutes from Santa Claus Village, Rovaniemi. Transportation from Santa Claus Village is included in all experiences.
Visits take place at a working reindeer farm, where guests can meet the reindeer, enjoy reindeer rides and spend unhurried time in nature. The experiences are based on everyday reindeer herding and guided by experienced reindeer guides who share their knowledge and life with the animals.
The farm operates under the guidance of local reindeer herder Janne Körkkö. Taava operates year-round, with a relaxed pace that allows time for interaction with the reindeer and conversation with the reindeer guides.

In Santa Claus Village at the Arctic Circle, you’ll find the welcoming Santa’s Pets (in Finnish: Tallitontun piha). Visit and feed our kindly reindeer and meet fluffy alpacas, goats, sheep, rabbits, donkeys and different birds or enjoy winter fun by coasting down the little hill on site! Guests can also use our Lapland hut (kota) & campfire / barbecue.
