Nova Galaxy Village is a small glamping resort for adults only, that introduces the local traditions of living both indoors and outdoors, and how the culture and lifestyle has been adapted to the modern days.

The hotel consists of 12 Scandinavian style Aurora Hut glass igloos with wood-burning saunas, a reception building, a cozy open-fire Kota Restaurant and facilities for our own, exclusive Arctic activities. The location is a quiet and isolated place in the middle of beautiful forest, between the Ounasjoki river and Nuuksvaara hill, about 15km away from the Rovaniemi city area and 19 km from Santa Claus Village.

The igloo hotel is located in Santa Claus Village, right on the Arctic Circle. Santa Claus Village is within walking distance, approximately 600 metres away. Rovaniemi Airport is only a short drive away, about 2 to 4 kilometres, while Rovaniemi city centre is located around 8 to 9 kilometres from the property. The location makes Santa’s Igloos Arctic Circle easy to reach while offering a peaceful setting close to key attractions.

Each glass igloo is air-conditioned and equipped with a private bathroom and rain shower. Best known as the premier destination for Northern Lights holidays and for our distinctive glass igloos, our resort also offers a diverse range of nature-based activities. We provide over 70 guided tours  across four seasons, from August to early April. The best way to fully experience all we have to offer is with our holiday packages, which are organized by season and theme. Seeking more living space? That’s where Aurora Cabin Queen and Aurora Cabin King come into play. These glass igloos feature a queen-sized bed and a king-sized bed, respectively. For larger families and groups of friends, we recommend Aurora Cabin Family, which accommodates up to six guests. The lake views, thanks to the close proximity of Lake Olkkajärvi, nicely complement the stunning sky views.

For sky watchers seeking something different, we offer two-storey glass igloo suites named Komsio Glass Igloo Suite and Kammi Glass Igloo Suite. In Komsio, the lower level features a bathroom with a shower, while the second level offers a stunning 360° sky view, placing you literally above most Aurora accommodations. Kammi takes it a step further with a more extensive seating area and a fully equipped kitchenette, making it an excellent choice for those traveling with family, as it accommodates up to four guests.

In addition to our glass igloos, we also offer Apukka Lakeview Suites  and Villa Apukka for a more familiar, home-like experience. The two-bedroom Lakeview Suites feature glass walls that provide an uninterrupted view of Lake Olkkajärvi. The largest of our accommodation options is Villa Apukka, which can host up to 14 people!
