While in Lapland Rovaniemi why not get impressed by the unique Snow Sauna! The sauna bathing experience is an astonishing combination of thick steam with intimate snow walls. The SnowHotel (35 km from Santa Claus Village) grounds also have a more traditional log-built sauna buildings with lovely Jacuzzis. Bathing combined with a suitable beverage and hopefully the northern lights will keep you warm!
This Sauna bathing experience is always private for your family or group! Our sauna guide is always available to help you and makes sure that everything goes correctly.
We recommend the Snow sauna experience and day visit with transfers – available daily during December 15th until March 31st.

Log Restaurant Lumikartano is made entirely of massive logs, and is designed to produce an experience on it´s own, so is sure to set the perfect mood for dinner. It is located in the main building of the Arctic SnowHotel & Glass Igloos area and it houses also the hotel reception.
Our guests enjoy not only lunch and dinner at Log restaurant, our hearty buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of flavours and different breakfast options. Breakfast is always included in the accommodation rate whether you are staying in SnowHotel or the glass igloos.
Log Restaurant Lumikartano whit floor space of 500 m² taking up to 150 charter guests is ideal to serve lunches and dinners for big groups. Being rich in atmosphere, the restaurant space is an ideal venue for different events.

Kota Restaurant serves lunch and 3-course dinner in a magical atmosphere by an open fire. Kota Restaurant is located in the shores of Lake Lehtojärvi, a 30-minute drive from Rovaniemi city center and Santa Claus Village.
The location houses one of the largest snowhotels in the world -Arctic SnowHotel & Glass Igloos. The SnowHotel is open between December 15th – March 31st. Through out the autumn and winter season, this is the place to be to catch the Northern Lights, away from the city lights.
You can arrive by your own car or have a look at visiting experiences that include a transfer from Santa Claus Village or Rovaniemi city center.

As a house specialty, the Kota Restaurant recommends glow-fried salmon which is definitely salmon at its best since it is slowly prepared by the open fire in the middle of the restaurant.

We welcome you to visit our handicraft workshop and Lappish home.
Decorative and Artistic Handicrafts A. Kangasniemi, located on the banks of Ounasjoki river some 15 km from Santa Claus Village and 10 km from Rovaniemi City center, familiarise you with reindeer antler work and its history. At our handicraft workshop, you get chance to make your own small object made from reindeer antler. Following this, you will be taken to explore our genuine, Lappish home and way of life.
The local cuisine will naturally become familiar as we drink a cup of juice, tea and coffee while sitting around the table in our private home.
