Restaurant Arctic Eye in Santa Claus Village offers tastes of Lapland and the North, with an international twist. Located in the center of Santa’s Igloos area, with large reclined glass windows facing North, it seats up to 120 people. You don’t have to worry about missing the Northern lights, the staff will give out the Aurora Alarm! Between meals, sit back and relax at the lobby bar.
In the late 19th century, weary travelers sought food and shelter at the historic Apukka tavern. Today, within those enduring timber log walls, you’ll discover Restaurant Aitta – serving great food to the travelers of today.
Aitta is situated within Apukka Resort on the outskirts of Rovaniemi, just a short 10-minute drive from Santa Claus Village. In keeping with the rich traditions of old Apukka, we offer Nordic cuisine with a contemporary twist, using locally sourced ingredients to ensure an authentic dining experience.
We offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily from early September to early April. You can choose from a sumptuous buffet or select a delicious dish from our à la carte menu. The centerpiece of our restaurant has to be either the grand stone fireplace with an oven or the tall windows, which provide a splendid view of Lake Olkkajärvi.

Reindeer and husky farm Raitola offers experiences for the whole family in Arctic Circle, near to Santa Claus Village in Rovaniemi. Come and combine your favorite activities in one farm! You get to experience the thrill of reindeer and husky sledge rides through the snowy forests. We offer programs during the winter for individuals as well as for groups.

In the Pentik Arctic Circle store you will find ceramic tableware collections and applied art pieces for homes, all made in Posio, Finland. Seasonally changing textile collections and interior decoration items provide inspiration throughout the year. A further reason to visit the store is the Riding the Wind installation by Pentik’s founder, ceramic artist Anu Pentik. The installation consists of hundreds of ceramic seeds covering the roof of the store.
