Saturday 25th October: Opening of Christmas Season 2025 – Santa Claus Village

Santa Claus Village’s Opening of Christmas Season is an annual celebration honouring the traditions of sharing Christmas spirit and good will. This year the event, called “Countdown to Christmas” and organized by Visit Rovaniemi, takes place on Saturday 25^th October at 18:00 (Finnish time) at the central square of Santa Claus Village on the Arctic Circle in Rovaniemi (Finland).

The musical Christmas performances take the audience into the merry moods of Christmas and Winter. The traditional Christmas Opening culminates in Santa’s arrival and speech.
