Restaurant Aitta in Apukka Resort

In the late 19th century, weary travelers sought food and shelter at the historic Apukka tavern. Today, within those enduring timber log walls, you’ll discover Restaurant Aitta – serving great food to the travelers of today.

Aitta is situated within Apukka Resort on the outskirts of Rovaniemi, just a short 10-minute drive from Santa Claus Village. In keeping with the rich traditions of old Apukka, we offer Nordic cuisine with a contemporary twist, using locally sourced ingredients to ensure an authentic dining experience.

We offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily from early September to early April. You can choose from a sumptuous buffet or select a delicious dish from our à la carte menu. The centerpiece of our restaurant has to be either the grand stone fireplace with an oven or the tall windows, which provide a splendid view of Lake Olkkajärvi.
