The Arctic Circle is a circle of latitude that runs 66°33′45.9″ north of the Equator. It marks the southernmost latitude where the sun can stay in summer continuously above the horizon for 24 hours. Thanks to this we have the phenomena of the midnight sun in Lapland. Santa Claus Village is certainly the best place to cross the famous Arctic Circle.
