Arctic Summer starts in Santa’s Village
The traditional Arctic Circle Summer Market marks the beginning of the summer season in Santa Claus Village on the weekend of 13–14 June 2026, from 10.00 to 17.00. During the event, companies from Santa Claus Village and the surrounding countryside showcase and sell their products. The atmosphere of the Lapland summer at this event with free entrance is enhanced by performances from local musicians, among others.
Activities & fun for the whole family
Visitors include both local residents and tourists arriving from different continents. Children and the young at heart will be delighted by a variety of animals. Naturally, a summery Santa Claus will also be available to meet in his office this weekend. SEE THE PROGRAMME BELOW

- 10:00–17:00: Market open
- The Loft Cafe tent will serve visitors in the central square throughout the event.
- 12:00–15:00: Horse-drawn carriage rides by Aurora Horses, €5 per person. Payment: card or cash.
- Combined admission offer for the animal attractions Husky Park and Santa’s Pets petting farm: €10 per adult and €5 per child (4–15 years).
- 10:00–15:00: Mountain bike rental at Santa Claus Holiday Village: €39 / 3 hours or €20 / hour.
- The event will be hosted by the talented musician Simodeus.

The event is organised by the Santa Claus Village Cooperative and its member companies, in cooperation with the City of Rovaniemi and the Rovaniemi Village Development Foundation.
