Arctic Art Festival is an environmental art festival that aims to increase the popularity of Winter art, and acquaint the younger generation with the versatility of Northern art.
The opening event of the festival is at Snowman World in Santa Claus Village on Tuesday 7th of February at 19:00 and the festival week culminates on the award ceremony of the International Snow Sculpture Competition on Saturday 11th of February at Lehtojärvi.
Arctic Art Festival includes events and activities that are free of charge, such as ice sculpture and fire element shows, free entry to Snowman World and ice disco on Tue 7.2. and to Arctic SnowHotel on Fri 10.2. and on Sat 11.2. The events includes also paid activities, such as husky sled rides, e-snowmobiling, children’s mini snowmobiling and e-snow scooter rides.
Arctic Art Festival is for the whole family and also program for adults. Free bus connection to Lehtojärvi from the Rovaniemi city centre on Sat-Sun 10.-11.2.
